Job Description

Duties


We are seeking an IT Data Modeller to join our Information Technology team within the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

As an IT Data Modeller you will apply best practice data modelling standards, practices, techniques and methodologies to achieve continuity in information management. You will identify risks and uncertainties and take these into account when making decisions under limited guidance using good judgment and expertise.

You will capture and model data requirements, data definitions as well as develop reports, business intelligence tools and information products to ensure data accuracy and integrity across outputs.

You will also be accountable for changes to physical data models and their version control as well a commitment to the design, delivery and maintenance of source-to-target data mapping documentation and migration tasks for projects and business as usual activities.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term

This recruitment process is being used to fill both ongoing and non-ongoing positions. Non-ongoing positions may be offered for up to 18 months.

Non-ongoing vacancies have the potential to become ongoing. These non-ongoing positions may become ongoing within the next 12 months. Should a position become ongoing then the merit pool established through this selection process may be used to fill the vacancy.
