Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL)
AHL’s purpose is to provide culturally safe, fit-for-purpose, affordable accommodation for Indigenous Australians who need to be away from home to access employment opportunities, health, education and other essential services.

The Position
A new management opportunity is now available for a motivated and experienced individual to join AHL in a fast paced, operational environment. Reporting to a Business Manager, the Assistant Business Manager will be critical to the organisation, overseeing the operations of a number of hotels within a geographical cluster to ensure appropriate and efficient services are delivered to our residents, as well providing support and guidance to staff. Success in this role requires strong management and leadership experience, commitment and passion for servicing the indigenous community, flexibility to travel regularly, and willingness to work “on the ground”.
The position is based in Sydney NSW, however regular travel will be involved.
 

Eligibility



To be eligible for engagement (and continuing employment) with AHL, applicants must meet AHL’s requirements for the following conditions:

- Hold Australian citizenship
- Obtain a Working with Children’s Check
- Satisfactory National Criminal History Check
- Satisfactory Medical Assessment
- Satisfactorily complete a Probation period.
