The successful candidate will report to the First Assistant Director-General Protect, Assure and Enable to steer the Branch responsible for proactively reducing risk and building resilience across Australia’s national cyber security ecosystem. The position will establish the ACSC as Australia’s cyber security ‘centre of excellence‘ through technical advice and assessments, predicting and assessing emerging technology and its impact, and delivering programs that disrupt the adversary and influence stakeholders’ technical cyber security maturity.

At a time of great change and increasing demand for cyber security services, the successful candidate will also have a strong delivery focus with the ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships and expectations of others to achieve outcomes.

To be a strong contender, you will be self-aware, positive in considering and respecting a diversity of ideas and perspectives, and have the courage to challenge the status quo when it does not serve the required outcome. You will be innovative, consultative, resilient and personally accountable for the quality of advice and the delivery of results.
