Job Description

The Opportunity

As an Intelligence Analyst you will have the opportunity to develop a diverse career across a range of specialised analytical areas. You will identify and investigate patterns and anomalies, draw intelligence value from large datasets, solve complex problems and produce high quality advice for Government. You will drive ASIO investigations, undertake research, make assessments and develop in-depth knowledge of specific issues.

Intelligence Analysts will apply best-practice analytical tradecraft together with subject area expertise to be able to make decisions on critical issues relevant to national security - often in high tempo environments.

To be successful in this role you will be expected to use your well-developed communication and people skills to work collaboratively in teams, provide high quality advice and form strong working relationships with internal, domestic and foreign partners, clients and stakeholders.

Job Location

After successful completion of the training, Intelligence Analysts will be assigned a role in Canberra.

To be eligible for the Intelligence Analyst role, you must:

- be an Australian citizen;
- have completed a three year undergraduate bachelor's degree (before January 2020);
- be willing to relocate to Canberra (removalist costs are covered); and
- be assessed as suitable to hold and maintain a Positive Vetting security clearance.
