Applications are now open for Entry Level Recruit - Sworn Police with the Australian Federal Police.

Opportunities exist through the Federal Police Development Program for successful applicants to work across different areas of the AFP such as ACT Policing, aviation policing or national investigations.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

• be an Australian Citizen
• be 18 years or older
• hold a valid driver’s licence (provisional and automatic licences will be accepted)
• be able to meet all the Minimum Entry Requirements and think you can successfully pass all mandatory Recruitment Gateways at the time of application
• have a year 12 education, or a year 10 Certificate with a Cert IV, a Trade Certificate or a Diploma.

Tertiary qualifications in the below fields will be held in high regard:

o Criminology, Criminal Justice, Law, National Security, Forensic Science, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism, International Security, Information Technology (communications, software, and network specialist); additionally
o proficiency in a language other than English will also be held in high regard.

Important note: If you applied for an Entry Level Recruit intake within the last 12 months (through VRN 0302/17 and VRN 0745/17) you are not eligible to apply for this process.
