Job Description


Under guidance, Investigators participate in, conduct independently, review, manage and/or oversee investigations and related work including the gathering and analysis of information relating to allegations of corruption within Australian Government Agencies with law enforcement functions.



This is a Designated Security Assessment Position. The occupant will need to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance


All non SES employees in ACLEI are eligible for a $1,705 per annum Service Allowance in addition to base salary.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term

An order of merit will be established from this selection process which will be used to fill any similar ongoing or non-ongoing vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. Non-ongoing (temporary) engagement may be offered for up to 18 months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 3 years.

About Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity 

ACLEI is an agency within the Attorney-General’s Portfolio, established to support the Integrity Commissioner in carrying out his or her responsibilities for detecting and preventing corrupt conduct, and investigating corruption issues, in prescribed Australian Government agencies with law enforcement functions. The Integrity Commissioner has extensive powers, including the ability to hold hearings, and ACLEI operations staff are able to use a range of law enforcement powers to assist in the Integrity Commissioner’s investigations.
