ONA is seeking to recruit a highly skilled, motivated and experienced senior professional to join our leadership and management team. This is an exciting time for ONA as we are working towards transitioning to the Office of National Intelligence (ONI) in 2018. The right people will be part of this transformation process and will then continue to work as part of the ONI senior executive group to fulfil our new obligations for the Australian Government.

The new Assistant Director-General (ADG) Enterprise Workforce Capability and Development will be responsible for:

• in collaboration with the agencies of the National Intelligence Community design, coordinate and implement enterprise-level workforce capability and development programs including strategic workforce planning; talent management; learning and development; leadership development; mentoring; coaching and career management and strategies that promote diversity and inclusion.

• liaising at senior levels with Commonwealth departments, non-government bodies, other local and overseas authorities and other external experts in relation to these responsibilities briefing Commonwealth Ministers, parliamentary committees and senior officials

• participating in and representing the agency at a variety of internal and external meetings and working groups, including internationally.

ONA is committed to supporting staff to work their hours flexibly. Full-time and part-time work may be available.
