We work to improve the workplace relations framework by:

The Team Leader, will be required to translate the ABCC’s strategy into operational goals, implement compliance plans; supervise the conduct of investigations, audits, education activities, and other regulatory processes and programs. The Team Leader will also contribute to the regional management team, agency-wide projects and provide input to business planning.

The Team Leader will require:

• high level leadership and people management skills;
• the ability to communicate with and influence a range of stakeholders and
to represent the Agency;
• extensive experience in interpreting and applying legislation and analysing
information including the conduct of audits;
• extensive experience in undertaking complex investigations, and preparing
and presenting briefs of evidence for litigation
• the ability to provide a clear sense of direction to staff; and
• strong problem solving skills.

The Team Leader must be prepared to travel regionally and interstate for a number of weeks for operational training or to assist in other ABCC offices. They must also hold a current driver’s licence. The successful applicant will be appointed as an Inspector under the BCIIP Act.
