Job Description

Duties


1. High level business relationship, networking, liaison and representation skills and the ability to interact with key stakeholders at a national level.

2. Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to undertake research, prepare reports and provide strategic advice to senior management.

3. Strong organisational and project management capability, including the ability to supervise multiple projects and multiple teams, set priorities for others and adjust priorities to align to changing circumstances.

4. Detailed knowledge of compliance and reporting obligations as these relate to Corporate Commonwealth entities under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.

5. Sound knowledge of the current national education landscape, including knowledge of the functions and responsibilities of ACARA, its relationship to related agencies, and key stakeholders to understand the ease or difficulty with which innovation can be implemented.

 

Eligibility


Relevant tertiary qualification and (in the absence of a degree with legal training) extensive experience dealing with administrative law matters as well as a significant background in public administration.
