Duties



A full-time, ongoing opportunity exists in our National Office at Parramatta NSW for a Director, Engagement and Education. This role will lead, coordinate and deliver the Quality Agency’s Industry Engagement and Education programs to promote quality in aged care services.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Industry Engagement and Communication, your main responsibilities will be:

• Provide strategic level expertise in the area of industry and consumer engagement and education;
• Lead the design and delivery of industry education and quality assessor/reviewer education programs;
• Lead and manage the Industry Engagement and Education team;
• Manage the Quality Agency Better Practice Conference and Better Practice Awards;
• Identify and lead innovative solutions in education and engagement to meet identified needs;
• Develop and manage key strategic relationships, promoting the Quality Agency’s business objectives;
• Develop, monitor and report on the Industry Engagement and Education budgets;
• Contribute to the strategic planning of Industry Engagement and Communications Branch and Quality Agency wide objectives
 

Eligibility



Selection criteria:

• Demonstrated ability to shape strategic thinking and inspire a sense of purpose and direction;
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in the identification, design and delivery of a broad range of industry engagement and education programs;
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate education programs to meet the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders;
• Demonstrated understanding of key issues and reforms impacting on the Aged Care sector in Australia;
• Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills.
 

Notes


Salary offered will be between $117,021 and $137,274 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.

Only candidates who hold Australian citizenship can apply. Appointment is conditional on successfully completing a national police check.
