Job Description


Working under broad direction and part of the Procurement Team:

1. Provide advice and practical guidance to staff of the ACCC on procurement and contract matters in accordance with Government legislation and policy.

2. Review procurement documentation and ensure procurements are compliant with Commonwealth Resource Management and Procurement frameworks.

3. Assist with the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policy and processes in consultation with key stakeholders.

4. Assist with various procurement and contract activities including: reporting (for example, Annual Report, Senate Order and gazettal); AusTender administration; and Whole-of-Government procurement; and raise and administer purchase orders.

5. Maintain accurate and timely records in the ACCC’s Financial Management and Information System (FMIS) – Technology One, and the ACCC’s Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS).

6. Update and maintain procurement and contract data bases;
