Duties


The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) oversees the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and works with the state and territory regulatory authorities to implement and administer the NQF.

We want children in Australia to have the best start in life.

We provide national leadership on the implementation of the NQF and collaborate with the Australian and state and territory governments to:

• implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years-of-age and their families
• monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
• support the early childhood education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children

We strive for innovation and continuous improvement and are committed to keeping the sector and the community informed with the latest developments in early childhood education and care.

The Role

Full time, fixed term position until 29 June 2018

Salary range $101,333 - $116, 399

The ICT Engagement and Training Manager is responsible for developing key stakeholder relationships, supporting the delivery of key IT projects, and maintaining relationships with Regulatory Authorities and the Australian Government by acting as the strategic liaison for the Education and Care Systems team.

This new role will also be required to prepare briefs, reports and policy papers and respond to regular and urgent requests for information and updates for the various working groups, Executive, CEO, Board and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders, drive change, and exercise sound judgement within a technical environment. You’ll also need to be able to work independently using your initiative to plan, organise and implement communication strategies with key business areas and working groups.

Eligibility


Selection Criteria

1. High level planning and organisational skills, with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
2. Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, drive change, and exercise sound judgement within a technical environment
3. Ability to identify stakeholder interests, implement communication strategies and negotiate persuasively
4. High level written, analytical and verbal communications skills including the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
5. Highly developed knowledge of the software development lifecycle including change management principles
6. Exhibit a broad understanding of the following:
a. System training and support
b. Communication strategies
c. Program and project governance

Desirable:
1. Experience working in or with a regulatory environment
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or SharePoint applications
3. Experience providing training or technical support to large scale applications
