Job Description


The Customer Service Centre (CSC) is a section within the Research, Regulation and Communications Branch of the Corporate and Research Division (CRD). CRD provide a wide-range of support services across the organisation and includes People, Finance and Procurement, Information and Communications Technology, Research, Regulation and Communications.

We are looking for an experienced customer service professional who is passionate about providing superior customer service and enjoys working in a challenging and dynamic environment. As an Enquiries Officer, you will manage customer enquiries and complaints on a range of radiocommunications, telecommunications and broadcasting matters received by phone, web-form, email, mail and/or fax.

An ongoing vacancy currently exists in our Canberra Office.


To be eligible for employment with the ACMA, applicants must be an Australian citizen.

An applicant's suitability for employment with the ACMA will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process will include a requirement for the applicant to undertake and satisfy an AFP National Police check and to complete a Health Declaration.



Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term

An order of merit may be established and used to fill similar ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies in Canberra or Melbourne as required. Non-ongoing vacancies filled from an order of merit may be offered as a specified term for up to 18 months.
