Duties


The Systems Assurance and Data Analytics Branch provides support and resources to both the financial statements and performance audit groups. The current structure consists of approximately 30 staff allocated into teams specialising in either IT systems and controls assurance or audit analytics. These staff are supplemented by a number of IT contractors to meet peak resource demands and/or to provide specialist skills. Our staff are drawn from a range of professional and technical backgrounds including: accounting; project management; system administration; database development; data analysis; and financial systems management.

As the Senior Director in the Data Analytics section of the Systems Assurance and Data Analytics Branch, under the broad guidance of the Executive Director, you would:

•Lead and manage a work area responsible for undertaking data analytics and data support tasks for Performance, Financial and IT Audit teams;
•Contribute significantly to the setting and achievement of corporate objectives particularly in relation to the development and use of data analytics;
•Assist in the formulation and implementation of IT audit business and operational plans;
•Provide significant professional and technical advice on a range of IT audit and data analytic issues;
•Raise awareness of IT and data-related issues for performance and financial audits;
•Manage client relationships; and
•Mentor, guide and support professional development of staff.

Eligibility
