Job Description


Reporting to the Director, Operations - My Health Record (MHR), the Vendor and Systems Support Team Lead role has responsibility for the System and Vendor Support functions of the MHR System Operations Section.

This role will contribute to the quality of functionality and user experience of the MHR System with a focus on supporting Vendors, monitoring system availability and resolving any issues in a timely manner. The position will engage in complex problem solving and issues management and may coordinate and undertake detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for the Agency.

The Vendor and Systems Support Team Lead will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

- Managing and resolving System and Vendor issues.
- Providing System Vendor Testing and Production Access Support for Clinical
- Information Systems (CIS) and Mobile applications connecting to the MHR system.
- Problem management for the National Infrastructure Operator (NIO) and Department of Human Services (DHS) systems including scheduling of data fixes and initiating change requests.
- Providing support and advice to the Incident Manager as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for resolution of MHR System Incidents.
- Facilitating the incident and problem meetings with the NIO.
- Managing MHR Relaxation and Exemption requests.
- Facilitating and/or participating in the Operations Governance Forum, joint working groups, and other high level meetings associated with the Agency.
- Implementing MHR terminology updates.



• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in preparing high quality reports and briefings.
• High level business and technology capability demonstrated through industry and/or software vendor roles.
• Experience providing strategic consultation to and collaboration with senior team members and a demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated innovation in designing and applying solutions to complex business problems.
• Expertise in data analysis, data visualisation and statistical modelling methods.
• Experience with system incidents (e.g. degradations, outages) causing significant impact to end users.
