Job Description


The Finance and Budgets Section sits within the Corporate and Research Division and is responsible for the management of the ACMA’s internal and external budgetary and financial processes, financial analysis/forecasting, Financial Systems Administration (TechnologyOne), and the management and collection of the ACMA’s administered revenues in accordance with the relevant legislative framework.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading a multi-skilled finance team to ensure the timely delivery of team outcomes within available resources. You will be responsible for providing high level financial advice and support to the ACMA Divisions, from budget development, reporting and analysis and training, to providing strategic direction on the future of ACMA’s finances and systems.



To be eligible for employment with the ACMA, applicants must be an Australian citizen.

An applicant’s suitability for employment with the ACMA will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process will include a requirement for the applicant to undertake and satisfy an AFP National Police check and to complete a Health Declaration.

This position requires a Baseline level security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at this level.
