Your role
As the Workforce Scheduler you will oversee and facilitate the creation of rosters for the National Service Centre. You will provide administrative support to the Workforce Manager involving forecasting, reporting and managing the day to day administration of queues and call distribution. You will monitor real time centre performance against KPI’s highlighting risks, as well as making and executing recommendations for enhancements to meet client needs.

What you’ll need to succeed
As a successful candidate you will:
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, using strong communication skills
• Embrace change and show resilience in a fast paced call centre environment
• Support the delivery of quality outcomes through teamwork and your ability to plan and prioritise your work
• Analyse data by employing a methodical, logical and detailed approach

AFSA’s work environment
You will enjoy excellent conditions including generous superannuation (15.4%), a modern work environment, flexibility to balance work and personal life, and professional growth.
We encourage applications from Indigenous Australians, peoples from culturally diverse backgrounds and people with disabilities. We value employee commitment and contribution and we provide a working environment that supports staff to reach their full potential.

Please note that this opportunity is open to all eligible members of the community.

Normally only Australian citizens are eligible for employment, although non-citizens may be appointed where they are prepared to take necessary steps to seek citizenship as a condition of employment.

To satisfy character requirements all AFSA employees must undergo a police records check.

Where a person has received a redundancy benefit from APS agency employment and their corresponding redundancy benefit period has not expired, they may be ineligible for employment.

Email applications should clearly state your name, the position title and location in the subject line.

Your application will be assessed against work related qualities and essential capabilities of the position and must include:

• A current resume
• A covering letter (2 pages max) stating why you are interested in the position, how your skills and experience make you the best person for the position and what value you can add to AFSA and the Client Services division
