Job Description


Austrade is looking for a Social Media Adviser to join its Media Team.

As the Social Media Adviser, you’ll be managing Austrade’s presence and influence across major social media platforms, managing media risks to protect and enhance Austrade’s reputation. You’ll provide specialist advice to social media users in our offices around the world on engagement, communications and writing for social media channels, ensuring compliance with Austrade’s social media policy.

The successful candidate will have sound judgement and skills in issues management, an ability to influence at a senior level, and a good track record in stakeholder management. You’ll have demonstrated social media management experience across multiple social media platforms. Excellent writing skills and an ability to meet deadlines is a prerequisite.
