The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science is recruiting for roles in the Digital Strategy and Operations Division. This is an excellent opportunity to work in business support and project environments and to make a tangible contribution to a variety of cutting-edge technologies.

We are seeking enthusiastic, and motivated people who have skills and experience that would be a good match for any of the following roles:

• ICT Network Engineer
• ICT Security Officer
• Junior Server Engineer
• Server Engineer
• ICT 2nd Service Coordinator
• ICT 2nd Level Support Engineer
• Database Administrator
• ICT Service Operations Officers
• ICT Engagement Officers

Our ideal candidate:

We are seeking motivated people with high-level technical skills and experience in similar roles. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to problem solve under pressure.

Immediate ongoing APS5 and APS6 vacancies will be filled in the Digital Strategy and Operations Division.

We have changed the way we recruit for these roles. You do not need to complete selection criteria, and have an extended timeframe for applications.

Applications will be evaluated regularly over the application period.

A merit pool will be established and may be used to fill similar current and future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies within the department. Candidates who are found suitable will remain active in the merit pool, until 18 July 2017.
