The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) has partnered with our Portfolio Agency, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) for the 2014 Graduate Development Program. Minimum of a three year degree. To be eligible for a position on the Graduate Development Program you must be an Australian Citizen, you must receive Australian Citizenship status by 31 January 2014.
Please note after six months service, AFMA graduates who have received a satisfactory rating in performance appraisals up to that date will advance to pay point APS 3.2 in accordance with the Australian Fisheries Management Authority Enterprise Agreement 2011–14. Further, in July 2013, there will be a salary increase of 3% per annum. Successful applicants will be required to undergo a security assessment and maintain an ongoing Negative Vetting 1 security clearance. Relocation assistance may be provided in accordance with AFMA’s Relocation Policy. Please note that the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) will be administrating the recruitment process and will be engaging their own graduates.
