Job Description

Duties
The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) employs a variety of staff in all States and Teritories. The major functional work areas are listed below:

• Serious Organised Crime—delivering criminal intelligence and investigation services
• People and Business Support—providing key enabling services to the ACC including people management, legal, ICT and finance
• Performance and Stakeholder Relations—providing advice and assistance to the agency via strategic policy, communications and media, and business reporting.

Commonly recruited positions include Executive Assistants, Project Officers, Support Officers and Administration Support.

Registration for the Temporary Employment Register will be valid for a period of six months and then removed.

Individuals already registered with ACC, must re-register every 6 months to be considered for future positions.

 
Eligibility
This is a position of trust. The occupant must satisfy and abide by the Commission’s security requirements, which include Australian citizenship. The occupant must also complete the ACC Employment Screening Process and satisfy a rigorous security assessment by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
 
Notes
Non-ongoing (temporary employment) opportunities will be offered for a specified term or, on occasion, on a casual basis ranging from a few days to up to 12 months, with a possibility of extension. Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered on a full time, part time or casual basis. Upon receipt, your application will be considered for registration on the Non-ongoing Employment Register. Only applications that contain an employment history and evidence of skills, qualifications and/or experience that are highly relevant to the needs of the Australian Crime Commission will be considered. Locations are Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
