Job Description


As a Branch Manager (SES Band 1), you will play a significant role in contributing to the overall strategic direction of the Department, including delivering reform and driving policy change. You will lead and manage a Branch; determine and be accountable for objectives, priorities and task allocation; represent the Department at high-level discussions and negotiations with key stakeholders and outside organisations; as part of the Group’s senior leadership team, work closely with the Group Manager and the Department’s Executive and contribute to strategic direction setting; and promote workplace practices consistent with Departmental policy and in accordance with APS values and leadership behaviours.
