Job Description

Duties
As the Assistant Secretary of Citizenship Branch you will provide leadership
to the Branch, support the First Assistant Secretary of the Citizenship,
Settlement and Multicultural Affairs Division and work with the other Branch
managers within the Division as part of the executive management team.

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Branch responsible for
providing high quality, forward looking policy advice to Government
regarding Australian citizenship; administering citizenship law and policy;
promoting the value of citizenship within the broader community; and
managing the delivery of the citizenship program.

To be a strong contender for this challenging role you will have a strong
record of leadership, especially the capacity to shape strategic thinking,
achieve results and to cultivate productive working relationships.

Eligibility
