Job Description

Duties
This position is available in Darwin to assist in the provision of support for the Government Business Managers (GBMs) and Indigenous Engagement Officers (IEOs) in Indigenous communities. This is an ongoing position and will report to the Team Leader, Remote Staff Coordination.

Description of the role
Roles and responsibilities
• Provide day to day operational and administrative support for Government Business Managers and Indigenous Engagement Officers;
• Collate weekly reports and issues briefs;
• Input into the development of procedures and guidelines for operational matters for both GBMs, IEOs and the team;
• Assist in the planning and running of periodic recall (conferences) for Government Business Managers and
• Contribute to positive working relationships with stakeholders in FaHCSIA, other Australian Government agencies, Northern Territory Government, service providers and local Indigenous organisations and communities.
