Job Description
Duties
The role of the Census PR Special Interest Groups Manager will be both challenging and rewarding. The role will heavily involve liaising with peak bodies, consultants and state representatives to effectively develop strategies to engage and enumerate specific target groups. The position would suit someone with experience dealing with special interest groups on a national level and with a genuine passion for making a difference. A knowledge of the Census and its purpose would be an advantage.
The person engaged in this role will be involved in:
- developing strategies for harder to enumerate groups - developing and fostering relationships with special interest peak bodies - provide expert advice to ABS State and Territory offices - development of recruitment strategies - development of website materials

This position is available for approximately 18 months.
