Job Description
Duties
Under the limited direction of the Manager, Christmas Island National Park, manage field operations for the Park accordance with the Christmas Island National Park Plan of Management and Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (1999) (EPBC Act) including; Implementation of terrestrial and marine environmental policies and wildlife protection and management programs; management of capital works and maintenance programs for visitor and park management infrastructure, including roads, walking tracks, viewing platforms, buildings and signs; development and implementation of environmental education and interpretation programs; and contributie to the development of compliance strategies for the protection of Christmas Island’s natural values and park assets, and exercise compliance and enforcement duties under the EPBC Act (1999) and regulations.
Eligibility
Tertiary qualifications in park management, natural resource management or related field desirable.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
Non ongoing for a specified term of 15 months but may become ongoing within the next 12 months.
