Job Description
Duties
The opportunity exists for exceptional individuals to join Centrelink’s senior management team as National Managers (Senior Executive Band 1) in the Information Technology (IT) Group. IT Group National Managers are responsible for delivering IT capability that ensures successful service delivery and guarantees corporate performance.
In these roles, you will draw on your background and experience as an IT professional who is adept at providing strategic input and support across a range of IT operations that underpin business activities. As a motivated, outcomes-oriented leader, you will thrive in Centrelink’s dynamic IT environment and enjoy delivering within tight timeframes.
Your well-developed understanding of contemporary IT issues and record of achievement in implementing strategies to enhance service delivery will ensure your success. Strategic management and leadership skills of a high order are required, as well as an ability to translate technical issues into business outcomes and a strong commitment to customer service.
